Castore designs and manufactures premium athletic and leisurewear. Their signature garment – the Garcia – is the embodiment of Castore’s approach, fusing high-tech fabrics with a wearable, fashion-focussed silhouette.
To introduce the new Garcia to their range, they asked us to create its product launch photography.
To raise the profile of Castore, we showcased their materials research and design developments through high-production fashion photography.
The stills concept has a contemporary, gritty tone, stylised to make use of light and shadow to create a dramatic visual style, utilising close-up shots and on-trend post-production techniques. We were able to accomplish this by setting the shoot at an old reservoir, making use of the distinctive architectural features. This was the perfect setting for the collection as it took advantage of the cold interior against the super-soft warmth of the latest luxury tracksuit.
To show the truly one-of-a-kind garment to its full potential, we constructed a water rig to capture every last raindrop rolling off the water-resistant material.
Imagery from the shoot went live within days of the shoot. Overall we delivered multiple assets for digital channels, ranging from 5-30-second videos, and fashion-forward stills all with different ratios adapted to social media platforms.
