We’re really proud of who we are and where we come from – being based in a city that strongly values community.
We feel very privileged to have enjoyed a long and successful charitable partnership with the amazing Claire House Hospice.
For the past four years we’ve been providing free creative and production support for their festive campaigns. Helping them find new ways to showcase their work and generate funds has been an honour.
This year we’ve taken things up a gear – taking them to the small screen with their first ever TV advert.
It’s a huge milestone. The end result is an emotional but uplifting piece of work that we hope makes as many people as possible give as much as they can.
When we first met to discuss ideas in the summer we certainly hoped it would be the start of something special.
We’re fiercely ambitious for all of our clients – whatever their budget – and we were determined to do whatever it took to help Claire House reach their biggest audience yet.
TV felt like the way forward. The perfect way to speak to people over the festive period.
We applied the same strategic thinking and creative rigour we do to all our work, looking for the strongest ideas and platforms to reach the right people, devising a campaign to showcase the charity’s vital work and prompt people to give generously.
Targeted giving and an affordable media budget for the client was important for this campaign so we chose Ad Smart from Sky as our platform, allowing us to prioritise specific regions – a brilliant option for charities or SMEs who want to get on TV in an affordable way.
The finished ad blends real life families talking about the support they receive with an animated version of Claire House’s mascot Claire Bear – re-imagined by our team for 2023 – lending a playful, fairytale feel.
Supported by a wider social media, radio and direct mail campaign, so far the feedback has been amazing. We’ll report back on how much they raise in the New Year.
For now, you can see the whole campaign and find out more about Claire House and make a donation here.
